ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hullo there! I’m Jade, a Lincoln based illustrator and comic artist. I really like tea, dogs and old books.
I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2011 with a first class honours degree in Illustration, and I started self-publishing my teastained comic series Cafe Suada shortly after that. My style is a fusion of British roots with Japanese influences, and combines digital and traditional techniques. In 2013 I was nominated for Best Emerging Talent in the British Comic Awards, and in 2014 I won the Myriad Editions First Graphic Novel competition with an extract from my graphic novel For the Love of God, Marie!, published July 2016.
I’m also a keen exhibitor, workshop leader and charicaturist and I can often be found at comic events such as Comic Con, Thoughtbubble, Comiket and others.
Poor Gerry, after that dolled up performance she loses the crowds anyway. A crowd that includes Walter (Shear Brilliance, Dean McKnight, dean-mcknight.tumblr.com) and if you really look closely, Aanslu and Iting from my Click Click Bang Bang comic.
@Mimi-Evelyn: SHUSH SHUSH XD You insider~! I'm glad I'm back too. Feels good :) Also I always used to get told I should design shoes for a living ._. Whut.
@Quarklette: SHE SEES THUH FUTURRRE. Only joking, you're welcome! (Btw I checked out Love Deli - my goodness it made me blush!)
@Magic Sheep: He is DAMN infuriating, but attractive! The worst combination known to humankind. Bwahaha.
@JammyScribbler: You won't be disappointed with what happens next, m'dear!
@3o-s-knight: Ohhh my you sent me so many wonderful comments, thank you so much! The whole irritating but thrilling thing is definitely what I wanted to get across about him - I've known quite a few people in my life who wound me right up, but it masks a fondness, I think :D
Aaah, poor Gerry indeed! With that big smug curly grin I'd be annoyed too! She did get the idea first didn't she but Ewan was quicker on the uptake... so yeah, I hate to break t to her but I do think he won the toss. I really want a pair of Gerry's shoes :3
Aahah! I feel like a real insider 'cos I know whats coming NEXT!~ ohohoho
I can't wait ^^ So glad you're back!
Argh can't log in... So guest I shall be.

:0000 awe man what is gong to happen next?! You left us n a cliff hanger!! Ps. I am loathing how Ewan is calling poor Gerry, 'Gerald' gawd :/// his face on the bottom panel says it all!! He is so suave and cool in some ways but I hate how he is winding her up for the sake of :'Y there is something thrilling about it too.... //old romantic - anyways, I haven't laughed so much at a comic in ages, just fantastic job, I can't wait to buy this in person :')
